CFS and Vaccinations

CFS influenza vaccine

For a small percentage of people, vaccinations seem to have played a role in the onset of their Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

If you have or have had CFS, there is no clear ruling upon whether vaccinations are a good idea. CFS includes flu-like symptoms and the influenza vaccine is considered to be of particular concern.

Whatever information you hear, it’s obviously important to discuss your decision in detail with your doctor.

I suspect that vaccinations can trigger an illness such as CFS in a few different ways

If you think you may have developed CFS after a vaccination, I recommend booking an appointment with an EFT and Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner who can check if a freeze response was experienced at the time of vaccination.

I did some quick research and came across this advice:

It is not generally advised to have vaccinations if you have CFS, as they could trigger a relapse. However, it may be a ‘safer’ option to have vaccinations if you are elderly and/or have potentially acute medical conditions.

If a vaccination is required for your work, study or travel, perhaps explore your options for special consideration, homeopathic alternatives and/or see a practitioner afterwards.

More info can be found on the Alison Hunter Memorial Foundation, and the ME/CFS (Victoria) websites.
